This could be a good New Year’s resolution

I went for my customary morning walk on New Year's Day, and I saw the customary signs of partying during the New Year's Eve celebrations right on the streets. I guess even Covid was not able to dampen everyone's spirits completely. However, I was still unhappy to see the trash left on the streets. It honestly does not take much to clean up after yourself, especially in a city like Geneva, where trash cans are essentially everywhere.

I think that as New Year's resolutions go, a great reservation would be to reduce our footprint on this planet is starting from adopting straightforward habits such as generating less litter and being careful about how we dispose of our waste.
