The project results from conducting a photographic survey of the locked-down world using the various public webcams that stream on the Internet. Locked up in my own house, I used these webcams as my personal windows to the world, capturing images with my digital camera just as I would on the street. Conducted over a long period and with careful planning, this project builds a story of the pandemic, one that tells the story from before the pandemic's start and ends and on the last day of the year 2020.

An Exploration of Fiction in Reality

I am very excited to release a digital art project that is based on my central thesis of questioning the very nature of reality. The works within this project are based on photographic images of everyday objects that are subsequently transformed to expose other hidden truths of their subjects.

The first collection is based on the pedestrian crossing signals in Geneva, Switzerland. Although, typically, a banal and commonplace presence on city streets, as these lights are twisted and tugged through careful photographic techniques and digital manipulation, another reality emerges – one that is at once beautiful and shocking.

This will be an extensive collection, for the subject has a lot to reveal. But, for now, a limited "foundational" release is being planned, one that will lay the groundwork for further exploration of this realm.
