Seascapes of the Ionian Sea

How many times does something that you are doing lead to unexpected results? Actually, unexpectedly good results? For example, I started out doing the "webcam" project to document the pandemic, never expecting seascapes to be one of my favorite things to come out of it, but here we are.

I really must thank one webcam above all for this unexpected gift: that of the Rodos Palladium Hotel, in Rhodes, Greece. Now replaced, the old webcam moved and panned spectacularly over the Ionian Sea, giving me many opportunities to create these wonderful images. Once hooked, I looked for more opportunities and ended up with a mini-portfolio of more than twenty images that I absolutely love.

Here are some of them. These images are from my recently launched photo book, "Scenes from a World in Lockdown”, that you can purchase on this website along with a free signed print.
